I’m also a yarn snob, and I prefer to wear and work with yarn that has at least 50% natural fibre in it, whether it’s wool, cotton, linen, hemp, possum fur or silk.
I live in Ashburton, on the South Island of New Zealand. I love my amazing husband and my four awesome boys (and a lot of other people of course, but those are my top favourites!). I am a compulsive crafter – as well as making things from yarn, I enjoy sewing, scrapbooking, art journaling, card making and gardening – which isn’t really a craft, but is a great opportunity to feed us and keep the grocery bill down so I can spend the extra on craft materials. (Cooking is a survival skill only. My children have grown in spite of my lack of culinary skills, so I figure it’s not really a big deal.)
My favourite place to be is at a beach.
